This guide walks you through creating your first template, setting up branding, and sending a homeowner their personalized presentation link.

Before you start

Make sure your organization has been provisioned in AI Presentations. If you’re not sure, contact your Demand IQ account manager.

Step 1: Create a template

Log in and you’ll land on your template dashboard. Click New Template in the top right. Fill in the details:
  1. Give your template a name — something you’ll recognize, like “Spring Solar Pitch”
  2. Add a Template Context — describe the audience and purpose in a sentence or two. This shapes the AI-generated narration, so the more specific you are, the better.
  3. Upload your slide images (JPG, PNG, WebP, or SVG, up to 10 MB each) by dragging them into the upload area. The order you add them is the order they’ll appear in the presentation. You can also drop a PDF — each page is rasterized into its own slide (up to 25 MB and 50 pages per file).
  4. Click Create & Generate
AI Presentations will analyze each image, write narration scripts, and generate spoken audio. You’ll see progress as it works through your slides — this usually takes under a minute.

Step 2: Review your slides

Once generation is complete, your template opens in the editor. Click through the Slides tab to review what was created. For each slide you can:
  • Edit the narration script directly
  • Click Regenerate Audio from Script after making changes
  • Use Use AI to Generate Script to have the AI rewrite it from the image
Don’t worry about getting everything perfect before moving on — you can always come back and edit.

Step 3: Set up branding

Open the Branding tab. This controls what homeowners see when they open their presentation. At a minimum, set:
  • Your Company Logo
  • Your Primary Color to match your brand
To customize the “Get Started” button on the landing page, open the Intro tab and set the CTA Button Label. To customize the main action button homeowners see once the presentation starts, open the Action tab and pick an action type (letter of intent, product confirmation, appointment, external link) and an optional button label. The Live Preview on the right updates as you make changes so you can see exactly how it’ll look. Open the FAQs tab and click Add FAQ to add questions your homeowners commonly ask. AI Presentations matches these during live Q&A and responds with your exact wording. A few good ones to start with:
  • How long does installation take?
  • Is there a warranty?
  • What’s the pricing / financing options?

Step 5: Send a presentation

Open the Presentations tab and click New Presentation. Enter the homeowner’s name, address, and contact details, then click Create. You’ll get a shareable link. Send it to the homeowner however you like — text, email, CRM, whatever fits your workflow. When they open it, they’ll see a branded landing page with their name and address already in the narration.
