# Branding

> Make presentations look like they came from you — your colors, logo, and messaging throughout.

The **Branding** tab in the template editor controls everything the homeowner sees when they open their presentation — your logo, color scheme, the chat avatar, and the landing page copy they read before hitting "Get Started."

Changes are reflected in the **Live Preview** panel on the right side of the screen as you make them.

## Before you save branding

A newly created deck has no branding of its own. That includes decks built from scratch and decks imported from images or a PPTX file. Decks duplicated from an existing deck or created from a template keep the source deck's branding.

Until you save the Branding tab for the first time, presentations from the deck show your organization's name in the header, display no logo, and use the default color palette. Save the tab once to replace those defaults with your own logo, colors, and messaging.

## Company information

* **Company Name** — shown in the presentation header. Leave this empty to display only your logo.
* **Company Logo** — click to upload your logo file (JPG, PNG, WebP, or SVG, up to 10 MB). This appears in the presentation header throughout the experience and on the product pricing slide. When you replace the logo, every slide that displays it picks up the new one — including presentations customized from a template.

AI Presentations never recolors or filters your logo artwork. On dark surfaces — the intro page, a product pricing slide with a dark neutral color, and the presentation email header — the logo is placed on a small white chip so it stays readable. On light surfaces it renders as uploaded. Upload a logo that reads well on a white background; that's how it appears in the presentation header.

## Chat avatar and greeting

This controls how the Q\&A chat introduces itself to the homeowner.

* **AI Avatar** — click **Replace** to pick an image from your image library or upload a new one, then crop it to a square (it's displayed as a circle). JPG, PNG, and WebP files up to 10 MB are supported; SVG isn't accepted here. This appears in the chat bubble during Q\&A.
* **Assistant Name** — the name shown in the chat header and messages, e.g. *Brian* or *Your Solar Advisor*
* **Initial Greeting Message** — the first message the homeowner sees when the chat opens. Keep it friendly and low-pressure, e.g. *"Hello! I'm here to help answer any questions you have."*

## Colors

* **Primary** — controls buttons, active states, and key highlights throughout the viewer
* **Neutral** — secondary text, borders, and subdued UI elements

Click the color swatch to open a color picker, or type a hex code directly.

## Typography

* **Primary Font (Headings)** — used for titles and your company name
* **Secondary Font (Body)** — used for body text, chat messages, and buttons

## Chat bubble colors

Customize the background color of chat messages:

* **User Messages** — the color of the homeowner's message bubbles
* **Assistant Messages** — the color of the AI response bubbles

## Call to action

The label on the main action button homeowners see (in the header, on product cards, on the pre-contract screen, and on the loading signpost) is set on the **Action** tab, not here. The Action tab controls both the action type (letter of intent, product confirmation, appointment, external link, or none) and an optional custom button label. When you leave the button label blank, AI Presentations uses the default for the selected action type — for example, *"Schedule Appointment"* for appointment decks or *"Reserve Your Installation"* for a letter of intent.

For letter-of-intent decks specifically, the fallback chain is: custom Action-tab label → the letter-of-intent template's button text → *"Reserve Your Installation"*.

## Intro page

The **Intro** tab (next to Branding) lets you customize the landing page homeowners see before the presentation starts. Toggle it on to configure:

* **Background Image** — full-bleed image behind the intro screen
* **Headline** — main heading, supports personalization tokens like `{{first_name}}`
* **Subtitle** — supporting line below the headline
* **CTA Button Label** — the "Get Started" button text

A strong headline example: `"Welcome, {{first_name}}! Your personalized report is ready."`
